Add sugar to butter and cream together. (Photo #1)
Add beaten egg yolk. Beat well until it emulsifies. (Photo #2)
Mix in sifted flour. (Photo #3)
Roll the dough, between the palms of your hands, into 5mm round and 10cm long pieces.
Fold and twist the strips as in the photo to make small loops. (Photo #4)
Bake in a preheated toaster oven at 160 °C (320 °F) for about 10 minutes. If the surface turns brown but the center is still not done, cover with foil and continue baking.
