Cream together butter and sugar.
Stir in beaten eggs, a little at a time. (Photo #1)
Add flour and blend well to make a smooth batter. (Photo #2)
Fill a square/rectangular tray or mold with the batter to a depth of 5mm.
Spread marmalade on top about 3mm thick, then cut into 4cm squares. (Photo #3)
Bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C (320 °F) for about 15 minutes until golden.
