Roast almond slices in the oven until golden, then chop them into fine pieces.
Cream together butter and sugar. (Photo #1)
Stir in beaten egg and blend well.
Add flour, almond powder and the chopped almonds. Blend well. (Photo #2)
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator and let rest for an hour.
Shape the dough into 3cm dome cookies. (Photo #3)
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F) for 10 - 15 minutes until golden.
After cooling, spread jam on top, then sprinkle with colored sprinkles generously. (Photo #4)
