Swiss style cookies. Spread orange marmalade generously on top before baking. You can substitute the marmalade with strawberry or blueberry jam.

Allow butter to soften at room temperature. Place the butter and sugar in a bowl and rub to combine the two ingredients.

Mix in egg. (Photo #1)

Add flour and blend. (Photo #2)

Transfer the dough into square molds. Smooth the surfaces and spread marmalade generously. (Photo #3)

Bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C (338 °F) for about 15 minutes.
