British style chocolate cakes. Making the batter is simple. Beat eggs and sugar over low heat to keep the mixture lukewarm. Then mix in the other ingredients in order. Mix in melted butter at the end, and you are ready to bake.

In a bowl, combine eggs and sugar. Place the bowl over low heat and beat until creamy and heavy.(Photo #1)

Stir in melted chocolate. (Photo #2)

Add sifted flour/cocoa powder mixture and blend.

Stir in melted butter and blend well. (Photo #3)

Pour the batter onto a lined baking tray, up to 1 cm to 1.5 cm in depth. (Photo #4)

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F).

Cut into 1.5 cm X 3 cm brick shapes, and sprinkle with cocoa powder*. (Photo #5)
