French style confectionery. Traditionally, they are made with thin crisp flakes called ¡Èfeuilletine¡É. Feuilletine flakes are thinner and finer than cornflakes. Since feuilletine is not commonly available, we use cornflakes as a substitute for this recipe.

Chop chocolate into fine pieces.

Crush cornflakes.

Bring cream to a boil.

Pour the cream over the chocolate. (Photo #1)

Stir well and blend. (Photo #2)

Mix in cornflakes. (Photo #3)

Pour the mixture into a rectangular dish, smooth the surface and refrigerate until hard. (Photo #4)

Cut into small squares. (Photo #5)
