Swiss style cheesecake. Allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature and beat until soft. The key to making the batter is to melt butter before adding it to the other ingredients.

Beat cream cheese until soft.

Melt butter over low heat.

Add sugar to the cream cheese and blend together.

Stir in beaten eggs, a little at a time, and blend well. (Photo #1)

Add flour and blend well. (Photo #2)

Stir in the melted butter and mix until smooth. (Photo #3)

Pour the batter into small round cups. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (365 °F) for about 15 minutes until golden. (Photo #4)

If you like, sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar* for decoration. (*Not included in the ingredients list)
