Swiss style dessert made with 100% grapefruit juice. For a more colorful look, try using the flesh of ruby red grapefruit in addition to that of a white variety.

Soak gelatin in water*. (*not included in the ingredients list.) Follow the instructions on the gelatin package to determine the amount of water.

Remove skin and white pith from grapefruit, then cut the flesh into bite size pieces. (Photo #1)

Combine grapefruit juice and sugar in a saucepan and place over heat. Heat until steam comes out.

Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the soaked gelatin and dissolve. (Photo #2)

After cooling the mixture at room temperature, mix in orange liqueur.

Arrange the cut grapefruit pieces in glasses. Fill each glass with the mixture 4/5 full. (Photo #3)

Refrigerate until firm.
