1. In a large bowl, cream together sugar and butter until pale. (Photo #1)
Stir in beaten eggs and blend well. (Photo #2)
Add sifted flour/cocoa powder mixture and blend.
Fold in chocolate chips and mix until well combined. (Photo #3)
Pour the batter into a round pan. (Photo #4)
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F) for 40 to 50 minutes. If the surface turns brown but the center is still undone, cover with foil to continue baking.
After cooling, sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar.
