Swiss style cookies. Top with sliced almonds and chocolate sauce before baking. If chocolate sauce is not available, you can substitute with melted chocolate.

Allow butter to soften at room temperature. Place the butter and sugar in a bowl and rub to combine the two ingredients.

Mix in egg.

Add flour and cocoa powder, then blend. (Photo #1)

Transfer the dough into square molds. Smooth the surfaces and pipe chocolate sauce onto them. (Photo #2)

Top with almond slices. (Photo #3)

Pipe chocolate sauce again onto the almonds. (Photo #4)

Bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C (338 °F) for about 15 minutes.
